Elif E. Cetin, M.S. (Engineering Science), P.E. Assistant Director, City of San Diego Engineering and Capital Projects Department, Strategic Capital Projects Branch
BIO: Elif Cetin's diverse background is a combination of international public and private Civil engineering service spanning all disciplines. She currently serves as Assistant Director of the Strategic Capital Projects Department for the City of San Diego where she is leading delivery of a CIP exceeding $9 Billion in close partnership with the consulting engineering community, including the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), San Diego Chapter. Ms. Cetin also served as adjunct professor for 15 years at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego where she taught structural Engineering and Architecture.

Bethany Bezak, M.S. (Biological and BioSystems Engineering), P.E. Transportation Director, City of San Diego
BIO: Bethany Bezak is the Director for the City of San Diego's Transportation Department, where she is responsible for leading a team of over 530 employees who deliver the City's planning, engineering, quick build, and operations and maintenance for all forms of transportation and mobility. The Transportation Department manages over 100,000 customer calls and service notifications annually and currently operates with a $100M annual budget plus manages over $250M in active grant projects.
Ms. Bezak has experience working in the public and private sectors and strives to implement practical and implementable solutions in the urban environment. Ms. Bezak has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and Master of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is a registered Professional Engineer and a LEED AP.
